Join our Silent Book Club meetup, happening at the picnic tables behind Mavericks Cafe on Salt Spring Island on August 30! This is a BYOB (bring your own book) format. This will likely be our last read-up outside; when weather demands, we will move to a public indoor venue.

Show up at 2pm, wear a sweater, grab a seat, order a coffee or an ice cream scoop, and tell us what you're reading. At 2:30pm we read quietly for an hour. Stick around after if you want to talk, or just keep reading.

Kids are welcome if they can read independently. All genres, all readers, all levels of introversion welcome.
